Please Do Not Disturb

This novel is set in the fictional African country of Bwalo, where five very different characters’ lives intertwine as they await “The Big Day,” when the ailing king addresses his people. From a curious boy and a struggling writer to a secretive kingmaker, a devoted nurse, and a small-time criminal, each faces personal struggles and hidden truths. As tension builds, a mysterious event at the Mirage Hotel threatens to change everything forever.
